Art Bash!

Hurray! We put on a terrific Art Bash this past Saturday! The insect tea party was a success! Everyone had a great time listening to bands and making silly mustaches. The music was awesome and the photo booth seemed to be one of the most popular activities. People loved getting their picture taken with a giant ladybug!

Ahead of Their Time!

Hey y’all! It’s that time of year again, with spring just around the corner. Arthouse is gearing up for their 12th annual Ahead of Their Time juried exhibition. So gather together your work and submit to Ahead of Their Time by April 1st! There will be a cash prize for the winning submission and our very own Rachel Adams, Curator of Public Programs at Arthouse, will be the juror. This is a super awesome event and a great way to show off some of your great art!

Husky

Thought I’d kick off this whole bloggin’ deal with this rad wooden bowl I carved last weekend (pic by me).
It’s carved out of reclaimed siberian elm wood, which I collected off of some guys lawn after it fell down in the serious winds of last fall.

Club Arthouse Photoshoot!

We wrapped up our fall semester of Club Arthouse last Wednesday. Students ate pizza and participated in a project created and directed by one of our own, Cesar Morales. Students had fun crafting funny letters for a photo shoot, taking turns posing with their letters. Check out the end result below!
