Spending Thanksgiving in NYC? Make it to James Cohan for TDH

November 26th, 2008 · No Comments

If I were Wolf Blitzer and I needed to name a Thanksgiving HQ, it would be New York City. I would also, however, pick my way through Macy’s clean up to make it to Trenton Doyle Hancock’s new show, entitled FEAR, at James Cohan Gallery.

Hancock’s vast body of new works- a series of refined moments pulled from the vast and growing mythology that lead to Cult of Color: Call to Color- represent powerful insights into an ongoing battle between Mounds and Vegans, good and evil, that has inspired Hancock for years. Congratulations Trent on a striking and relevant show…
